Streamlined patching for 600+ Linux systems by implementing Red Hat Satellite Server, greatly reducing the cost and effort required to keep all servers up to date with security and other patches. Designed, built, and maintained entire co-located web site for start-up company. Duties included co-location site selection, purchasing all hardware, budgeting for web operations, 24x7 availability of web site and applications, troubleshooting of Internet routing and connectivity issues, and hiring/managing additional web operations personnel. Technologies used in the site included Sun Enterprise servers, NT servers, Cisco hardware, Oracle 8i, Veritas Volume Manager, Legato Networker, Apache, and JRun.
